Rather than update this at a snail’s pace with how Tobin has grown over the last 4 months I thought I’d skip ahead and possible add in bits from the previous months as time goes on because I’ll have forgotten what’s happening now by the time I’ve caught up.
Grab those ears!
Here’s a picture I got of him earlier in the week, he always grabs at his ears when he’s tired and this time he actually fell asleep holding them. I had to get a picture because he looks so peaceful and sweet.
We saw the health visitor today for his four month (ish) check up, weight is fine, height is above average (so looks like he’s taking after his Dad, I’m 5ft so we were hoping he wouldn’t suffer with my short genes) and he’s got a big head…well above average but I think the measurements are pretty broad. He actually managed a smile for the health visitor which is nice because he usually just frowns at people.
It’s jab day tomorrow and I’m not looking forward to it, I don’t like seeing him in pain but he usually gets over the needle pretty quickly. The last set of jabs made him a bit grotty for a few days so we’re hoping they won’t effect him in the same way this time, but if it does there’s always Calpol!
Mummy and Tobin
Here’s one of me and Tobin from the weekend, we just managed to get this picture before he kicked off wanting food. It’s funny to look at the pictures as we take them off the camera as there are usually a few photo’s either side of a good one that are unhappy ones (or blurred if I’m taking them) but it really is nice to look back at old photo’s and see how much he’s grown already.
I’ll update you on the injections tomorrow, hopefully reporting that all went well and I have a reasonably happy baby but who knows. He’s normally a really good boy for us so I’m sure this will be no different.
