Finished projects 5-7

The first month of 2016 has gone already and I’m up to 7 projects so far!
I was asked to make a twirlywoo character by my sister for her next door neighbours little boy.

I designed the pattern myself because there weren’t really any out there.  It was fairly easy and I used some scraps of red heart super Saver so stash-busting too!
I also made the second blooming flower cushion for my sisters mother in law (so to speak). I made one towards the end of last year and she requested another one to match.  I made this using ice yarn in the purple, red,  pink colour.

I finally got around to making myself a shawl and I used the red heart boutique unforgettable that I treated myself to.  It’s so pretty and looks great either as a bandana style shawl or wrapped around.  I’m hoping to get it washed and blocked for the weekend. This is the virus shawl pattern which can be found on Ravelry and there are great tutorial videos on YouTube. They really helped me understand the pattern and be able to follow a chart.
