A better day

Tobin's first snow!

Tobin's first snow!

Today has been another busy one and yet again the weekend has flown by. We visited both Grandparents on Paul’s side today so their Tobin levels have been nicely topped up and we’ve had snow to boot, what a day!

We started the day fairly leisurely after Tobin woke up at 3am for a chat which had me up and down out of bed for about an hour before he went back to sleep. Me and Tobin got up at about 8am leaving Daddy to have a well deserved lie in.

What's that Grannie?!

Next we were off to Loughborough to see Grannie Fowler, Poppa Tom and Auntie Charlie, very strange weather today we had sun on the way to Loughborough and a blizzard on the way home. Tobin had fun playing with Grannie and was good enough to pose for a few photo’s with us. We might be seeing Grannie again later in the week so we’ll be sure to get more photos.

We left Loughborough surrounded by snow and arrived home to slightly less snow but enough to get the top picture. After a quick lunch it was off to Grandad’s to catch up. Tobin had a cuddle with Auntie Nic and Grandad and went to see Grandad’s fish (he loves them, they seem to calm him down which is handy!) and had his first encounter with a balloon. After several attempts at eating it (everything is heading towards his mouth at the minute so teeth can’t be far away) he decided that hitting it was more fun.

It seems that the injections haven’t bothered him too much today, we had a few tears but I think he was tired more than anything as we’ve been out and about a lot and his routine has been disturbed a little but hopefully the coming week wont be too busy and he’ll get to nap properly.

Tomorrow I hope to get round to talking about nappies…I know it doesn’t sound interesting but we’ve had the advantage of trying both disposable and washable nappies much preferring one to the other…check back tomorrow to see which came out top!
