In the blink of an eye

I didn't do it

I didn't do it

Our little man is mobile and don’t we know about it?!?! About two weeks ago now it all began, in the morning he was still shuffling about on his belly and by the afternoon he had developed a lovely SAS style commando crawl and since then he has got more and more confident and is properly crawling about on his knees now.

It’s amazing how it all happened at once, he can now sit himself up from laying down and he seems to get more stable every time he does it. The only problem now is stopping him getting about. We had a major baby-proofing session last weekend and so far I think most of the dangers are covered. The computer and digital box are now safely covered as his little fingers seemed to instinctively know where the reset buttons were. The Wii has been re-homed this weekend due to him finding the eject button and trying to eat my Guitar Hero 3 disc!

The pox!!!

The pox!!!

Since I last posted, Tobin has had chicken pox and had a couple of weeks off nursery which is turn meant me and Daddy had some time off work. Luckily, it was a mild dose, to be honest if the nursery hadn’t pointed it out I doubt we would have known really. Tobin didn’t seem too bothered by it thankfully and he didn’t really itch and his spots weren’t too bad. I think we got away without any scars which I’m pleased about because the spots are usually aggravated by nappies. It must be our brilliant nappies keeping him nice and dry and not irritating his skin!

Between us we’ve had a few holidays recently as Grannie, Poppa Tom and Aunite Charlie have been on holiday so we’ve been having extra time at home with Tobin. Me and Paul have a week off together coming soon so hopefully the weather will hold for us and we can actually get out as a family and maybe even get to go swimming which we’ve been planning for months. Then it’s back into work for a few weeks before its holiday time for a special someones birthday. Yes, Tobin’s  first birthday is approaching rapidly! I think we’ll just buy him a big foam suit to stop him from injuring himself on his travels!
